Forecast

You can establish a link to forecasted rainfall data for locations throughout the world. Simply input a location and select the applicable forecasting model. Then you can select the forecasted storm just like any other storm event in the application.

Location Data: The entered latitude and longitude need to be in Geographic Coordinates WGS84. This is the same coordinate system used and presented by Google Maps.

Testing the Forecast: Click the Refresh button, to make sure your configuration works. If so a graph will appear. This may take a little time, otherwise you will get an error message.

Note: For users located in a different Time Zone than the project area being analyzed; the charted forecasted rainfall reflects the Time Zone of the user location, not the Time Zone corresponding project area location (Lat and Long of the rainfall forecast).
